Destira has always been a family thing. My mom, Donna, started making leotards years ago because she couldn’t find anything fun or stylish for me and my sister when we were in gymnastics. Everything was pretty basic back then, so she got creative and made her own.

What started as leos for us turned into leos for our friends, then their friends… and in 2003, my mom and sister, Jodi, officially launched Destira. Now, all these years later, the three of us—Donna, Jodi, and I (Jen!)—are still running Destira as a mom-daughter team, doing what we love.

We’re a company on a mission to empower confidence through stretch apparel for girls on the move. Destira was built by a mom—my mom—who started this business with her own two hands. And that heart, care, and attention to quality is something we proudly carry forward. We stay true to her legacy of durability and comfort, and we’ve evolved our prints, patterns, and color stories to reflect the fun, expressive, trend-forward style your daughter reaches for first.
