Hi, there. We have some exciting news to share: Destira will be settling into our new, more spacious location on Sept. 23rd! Business is thriving, our apparel collections are expanding, and our team is bigger than ever. Our original 116 El Camino Real, San Carlos CA office will always have a special place in our hearts, but we need more space to spread our wings and grow.
This exciting, poignant, busy time gives us a chance to give our community a heartfelt THANK YOU! You made our evolution possible, and we appreciate the gift of your support every day.
Our San Carlos office has been the work horse of our company. You may know of this location as our warehouse. After all, this is where the fulfillment team buzzes around our inventory of over 200 leotard styles (not to mention shorts, leggings, and grip bags) and fills your orders by hand. However, this is also where the consignment program, design, art direction, production management, and customer service live. Jen Atkinson, one of the owners of Destira, lives with her family right around the corner and calls the San Carlos office her second home. When Donna Levy, founder of Destira, isn’t at our Portland Oregon branch, she can be found working and creating here, too. There’s a lot going in San Carlos!
