Halloween is upon us! We are only a few weeks away from a night of tricks and treats. Team Destira is here to share some of our Halloween favorites with you!
What is your favorite Halloween candy?
- Anything chocolate! Twix, Kit Kat, Snickers - all of it! -Braylee, Director of Sales

What is your favorite Halloween movie?
- I love scary movies! Definitely the Scream lineup, and then Hereditary. -Braylee, Director of Sales

Do you have any Halloween traditions?
- I always dress up - even if I am just passing out candy at home! -Krystal, Director of Marketing and Consumer Success
- We always have chili and cornbread for dinner. -Jessie, Custom Project Coordinator
- Costumes are always handmade! -Stephanie, Product Developer
- We always watch Hocus Pocus! -Morgan, Custom Sales Manager
- I LOVE decorating for Halloween and watching scary movies. -Inga, Sales Operations Assistant
- We have hosted Halloween trick or treating every year for the last 7 years with family friends, so our group has grown from 4 families (15+ people) to now 8 families (closer to 35+ people), and we have a wagon with treats for adults and a speaker with music. We open the party for chili at our house and then do a walking party through our neighborhood while kiddos trick or treat, for a few hours. -Jen, CEO
What is the best Halloween costume that you have worn?
- Last year my friends and I were wrestlers in New Orleans! -Braylee, Director of Sales

- I made my son a “chick magnet” by pinning Barbie dolls to his tee shirt! -Jessie, Custom Project Coordinator

- I always try to go with something homemade so it’s comfy. -Morgan, Custom Sales Manager
- When I was 7, my mom made me a Cinderella ball gown with a huge hoop skirt. I was obsessed with it! -Inga, Sales Operations Asssitant
- My husband and I went as a Kentucky Derby couple, where he was a jockey (most giant jockey - he’s 6’7”) and I was dressed for the Derby with an extravagant DIY hat and dress! -Jen, CEO
