Donation 2019-2020 Snapshot

WE BELIEVE in fun, doing the right thing, sharing the love, and embracing our authentic selves and creating safe spaces for others to do the same. We believe we can’t really have fun, until everyone is having fun (to paraphrase a favorite, famous quote).

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we are again raising funds for Young Survival Coalition, a non-profit organization committed to supporting people diagnosed with breast cancer under the age of 40 though the sale of our beautiful Wings of Hope leotard.

Here’s how your purchases help us give back to our community year-round

2020 GIVE-BACK SNAPSHOT

In a year fraught with the business challenges of surviving this pandemic, Destira created a Matching Gift Program to support the issues our team cares about, with 100% match of employee donations to community organizations, educational and environmental programs, arts + culture programs, and health + human services organizations.

Through corporate giving and matched employee donations, Destira has donated over $2,000 to charitable organizations working to create a more equitable world for the least-advantaged Americans and those experiencing hardship and illness.

We’ve donated over 1,000 (and counting) premium cotton face masks to non-profit youth-services organizations.

We’ve also created new fundraising programs to help financially support the gymnastics community during the economic downturn brought by the pandemic. Since June 2020, we’ve helped generate over $31,000 through these new fundraising programs for our gymnastics community.
