Meet the Team: Inga Olson - Our New Sales Operations Assistant

Join us in welcoming our new Sales Operations Assistant, Inga Olson, to Team Destira! Inga has recently joined the Destira Sales Team and is already loving every minute of it.
Inga is a mom currently residing in Portland, OR with her husband and new kitty, Wednesday! She also has two adult children who are working hard on making their own moves as young adults. Inga has worked in retail for many years. She is coming to Destira with plenty of experience in sales, customer service, and management.
“Working at a women-owned company is HUGE,” says Inga. She already feels a big difference in Destira’s practices, such as how we speak with our customers to how as a company, Destira is always focusing on the right things.
Inga’s role as Sales Operations Assistant means that she is working very closely with our consignment program customers. She works hard each day to provide an exceptional experience for them when they work with Destira. “All of the customers are so pleasant and wonderful,” says Inga.
Outside of work, Inga loves to stay busy. Not only is she a long-standing member of a book club, but she and her husband are big foodies! They love trying out the diverse food scene in the Portland area. She also enjoys some local traveling around Oregon!
With all of her experience in retail and customer service throughout her career, we asked Inga for some tips on connecting with people. She says to “approach everyone with a smile in your voice to show that you are friendly and truly coming from a good place!” Plus, it is always important to “acknowledge everything someone says to know that they are being heard.”
As we do with every new Destira team member, we asked Inga what her favorite 3 Destira styles are. She says “Anything with Flamingos, Sparkles, or Llamas!”
